Jarrod & Lauren Tie the Knot

What a beautiful Rustic Chic (As I now hear it’s called) Wedding that Jarrod & Lauren had!  It was at Prater’s Mill in Dalton, GA.  I tried to keep the pictures traditional with a little of Jarrod & Lauren’s vintage flare.  I’d try to explain the theme further but I am better at taking pictures then I am at making sense of them so…Enjoy!

Dawn and Stephen Get Married

What a blast I had at my old pal Dawn’s wedding.  It was up in Helen in the most beautiful campground I have ever laid eyes on.  I worried all week about the rain that was supposed to be everywhere but it was so perfect outside.  Here’s a little sneak peek of all of their stuff.  So in love with the last picture!

Jarrod & Lauren

Jarrod and Lauren came with me to Prater’s Mill to do some engagement pictues and just some fun ones with Jarrod.  I’m getting to do their wedding in a little over a month and couldn’t be more excited.  I’ve known these two for about a year or so and you couldn’t meet a nicer couple.  Can’t wait to take those and get their wedding pictures up here!  Till then, here’s a little preview of what’s to come.

Dancing in the Rain

As previously mentioned, whenever I need a guinea pig, Caleb and Harper are always happy to appease.  This may in fact be my favorite thing I’ve ever shot.  It was downpouring and I was trying to focus in the dark, yell directions over the rain and hold an umbrella.  Not to mention, trying to keep my gear from getting soaked.  I saw where my favorite photographer (his name will not be mentioned or you will see how much better his is) shot this same concept and I have been in love with it ever since and just needed to wait for the right night.  Well one Monday after church softball the opportunity arose and here is what we got…

Candace & Joel

A few weeks ago Aaron Thomason with Arc Studios called me to see if I would be able to shoot a wedding with him up in Chattanooga.  I was really excited becuase I have admired Aaron’s work for some time now and I knew how awesome it was going to be to shoot with him.  Here’s a few from our first (and hopefully not last!!!) wedding together.
